    Morning Meditation
    Mar 1 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am
    Morning Meditation

We will be continuing our weekly meditation groups via Zoom as we explore this different way of gathering and sharing our practice.  Our experience over the last few months reveals that gathering and practicing in this way is very beneficial…helping us to feel more grounded, more connected, and more balanced during this time of great uncertainty and disruption.

Please join us as we begin each week freshly, renewing and restoring our balance, and soothing our souls.  We will cultivate greater intimacy with some of the deeper layers of our own experience, and open the door to seeing the beauty that is always here…if we just turn our gaze towards its location, and patiently watch.

Once you register for the weekly meditation, you will be sent a confirmation email from [email protected](check you spam if you do not receive it), it will contain the Zoom link that you will click to join our Zoom “meeting”. You can create a Zoom account and download the necessary software at www.zoom.us. The same Zoom link should be used each week.

    Virtual Poetry Writing Sessions
    Mar 1 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
    Virtual Poetry Writing Sessions

Let’s write some Poetry!! And have some fun.  I don’t know about you but poetry has been immensely helpful in these chaotic times when the emotional roller coaster takes a deep dive. I take my heart to pen and write myself upright and grounded again.

Come join me, touching into the creative expression of your soul’s longing, your deepest dreams or what seems to bubble up from nowhere.  No prior writing experience is necessary.  The format on zoom will begin with a brief centering meditation.  A poem, read by me or someone from the group, will serve as inspiration opening the door of the heart to let the words flow.  Be happily surprised.

This class is led by Carol Marcy, who has been writing off and on for a long time and over this last year or so she has been an active participant in a poetry class/group that meets twice a week. She won the Atwood Museum’s 2020 haiku contest.

Once you register, you will be sent a confirmation email from [email protected] (check you spam if you do not receive it), it will contain the Zoom link that you will click to join our Zoom “meeting”.

    Nature Based Guided Meditation
    Mar 3 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
    Nature Based Guided Meditation

Come join Carol on a journey that can transform your relationship to yourself and Nature. This is a heart centered guided meditation practice that focuses on building awareness through breath and imagery.

This class will awaken an awareness of body, mind and spirit. Connect your feet to soft earth, rooting, grounding, stabilizing from the inside out with breath. Open your heart to being present to life through your body, your organs, your skin, your bones. Learn a meditation practice that you can take with you when you work in your garden, go for a walk in the wood, or on a beach or simply sit in your backyard.
Carol Marcy is a certified meditation teacher having studied for over twenty years at the Washington Center for Consciousness Studies in D.C. She was leading Forest Bathing Walks as a meditation practice on Cape Cod until the practice shifted to a virtual experience. You are welcome to check out her website for more information. www.drcarolmarcy.com
