When you register you will get a Zoom link by email to join the class.

The course will be 4 weekly 90 minute zoom meetings inquiring into mindfulness of your breath, your body, emotions and thoughts. It will be a small group of inner explorers.

The concept of mindfulness meditation is quite popular and common these days. Are you ready for a deeper dive? Meditation is the practice of slowing down for a short time, providing a rejuvenating pause. Mindfulness is awareness: curious, non-judgmental and compassionate. With practice you can train your mind to concentrate and flow with distractions. You can fill your tanks with the experience of peace, making stresses less disrupting.

We are invited to find out for ourselves…Is it true? Does this “paying attention” to my breath increase my sense of peace and pleasure? Does it relax my heart? Clear my mind? Allow me to be a better listener? See more clearly. Be with things AS THEY ARE? Invoke a feeling of lovingkindness for ourselves and others?

lee pierce is in the second year of her 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. This is a practicum for completion of this process. She has also taught meditation classes at a local church.
