Concentration Practice for Beginning & Experienced Meditators

An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday, repeating until November 7, 2018
A 6-Session Meditation Series
This series will focus directly on skills and techniques that enable the development and deepening of concentration. It is suitable for individuals who want to begin meditating, as well as experienced meditators whose practices may have plateaued, and who long to deepen their practices.
Attendance at all sessions is encouraged, especially for those who are just beginning a meditation practice.
With Richard Hunt
Richard Hunt is a retired psychologist; during the course of his career, he worked in the areas of chronic pain, addictions, relationship problems, and individual distress. He has been a student of the Diamond Approach (the Ridhwan School) since the mid 1990’s. The Diamond Approach is a path of self-realization that draws from Eastern and Western spiritual traditions and from modern psychology; its aim is to help students discover and actualize their most authentic self.
Richard has also studied Mahamudra meditation, participating in over a dozen retreats led by lamas and practitioners familiar with that view; in addition, he has participated in many Vipassana style meditation retreats. He has familiarity with a wide range of spiritual approaches.
