Yoga for Golfers Part 1: Grounding your Game

July 1, 2015 @ 5:00 am - 7:00 am

By applying the principles and poses of yoga to your golf game you will improve your flexibility, calm your mind and strengthen your core to support a powerful swing, and ultimately lower your score and have more fun on the golf course.  Each session includes:

  • Core Poses from yoga to develop strength and flexibility
  • Breath work to calm the mind and body
  • Pre and post golf stretches/routine
  • Mindfulness techniques to focus your attention and enhance performance

Part 1 of this workshop series provides an introduction to yoga as a way to support the golf game with a focus on the basics of breath work to calm and stabilize your body and mind.  You will learn and practice a sequence of poses designed to strengthen and stretch your core in order to build your swing and develop athleticism. Special attention is given to the full swing motion with an emphasis on lower body movement.

$40/session or $100 for the series
